Please include in your email:

• The candidate’s name, organization, position and references if applicable;
• Relevant candidate’s achievements;
• Your name, organization and position (if you are not the candidate).

Reminders on the World CTL Award:

The World CTL Award rewards an individual in recognition of his/her contribution to the understanding and development of coal (or coal and biomass) conversion to fluid hydrocarbons: liquid fuels, substitute natural gas, chemicals.

The Advisory Board will proceed with the election in November, 2011.

Previous Award recipients are:

• 2008: Sadao Wasaka, Executive Director, New Energy and Industry Technology Organization (Japan)
• 2009: Theo Lee, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Headwaters (USA)
• 2010: Zhang Jiming, Vice President, Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical (China) and General Manager, Ordos Coal Liquefaction Branch
• 2011: Rudi Heydenrich, Executive Manager of Sasol Technology (South Africa).
